19. Research related activities.

(1) It shall be the duty of such institutions in the field of occupational safety and health as the Central or State Government may notify to conduct research, experiments and demonstrations relating to occupational safety and health and thereafter submit their recommendations to the Central Government or the State Government, as the case may be: Provided that the State Government shall consult National Board before notifying conduct of research, experiments and demonstration relating to occupational safety and health.
